I began doing pottery after a career in film animation. I enjoyed the pottery so much, I haven't quit. I like the challenge of the three dimensional design and the hands-on activity of working with clay. I also appreciate that pottery can be decorative and/or functional. My first love remains drawing and painting, so I am frequently looking for new ways to incorporate that into my pottery also.
